Attorney Hung-Ming Hsieh, Partner at Pontis Law, assisted the National Bar Association of the Republic of China in joining the International Bar Association (IBA), marking an important milestone for the Taiwanese legal profession within the international legal community.
In 2023, Our Partner, Attorney Hung-Ming submitted an application on behalf of the National Bar Association of the Republic of China to the International Bar Association (IBA) for admission as a Full Member Organization with voting rights, under the name “Taiwan Bar Association,” in his role as Chairperson of the International Affairs Committee. He also assisted in the successful and unanimous approval of the application during the IBA Council Meeting held on May 25, 2024, in Romania. As a member of Taiwan’s legal community, Pontis Law is honored to have taken part in this historic moment.
